Jack LeValley

Jack has been a resident of the Town of Elmira for 62 years where he and his wife Cheryl raised two daughters. His varied work history includes time at Eastern Metal, Elmira Aeronautical, and the Elmira Water Board. Jack Retired in 2021. He was extremely active in the West Elmira Volunteer Fire Department for decades. He joined the department in 1974 as a firefighter. Jack gradually rose through the ranks serving as Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief and finally Chief for 18 years. He currently serves on the WEVFD Board of Fire Commissioners. Jack is particularly dedicated to providing and preserving high-quality public safety and services to the residents of the town and promoting public engagement.
